Historical, Literary, Monumental, and Picturesque Poland is a summary of the history of Poland, composed by the Lithuanian emigrant in Paris, historian and former member of the Philomath Society of Vilnius University Leonard Boreiko Chodźko (1800–1871). The work is arranged chronologically: the first part is dedicated to the ancient history of Poland, the second to the common history of Lithuania and Poland from the reign of Jogaila to Jan Sobieski, and the third to the period of 18th-19th centuries. The book is decorated with numerous engravings depicting historic personalities and locations.
