Very scarce first and only edition of the text of the Truce or Treaty of Jam Zapolski (near Nowgorod) between the Polish King and Grand Duke of Lithuania, and the Russian Czar Iwan IV. Following the successful Livonian campaign of King Stephen Báthory, and the Siege of Pskov, it was one of the treaties that ended the Livonian or First Northern War (1558-1583). – Somewhat browned.

Conditions of the Truce Agreed on by Duke of Muscovy and His Highness the King of Poland in Yam Zapolsky in the Presence of the Senior Envoy to the Highest Hierarch From Muscovy, 15 January 1582 is the text of the peace treaty between the King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania Stephen Bathory and the Russian Tsar Ivan IV the Terrible. This was one of the treaties that ended the 1558–1583 Livonian war.
