Jesus falls the third time under the cross is the Ninth Station of the Way of the Cross, which depicts the devastated Jesus falling the third time under the weight of the cross.

…dearest Jesus walking to Calvary fell twice to the ground and hit his face against the stones, because there were many stones in Jerusalem.

Christ Our Lord carrying the cross started fainting. Jewish executioners fearing that He might die on the way and would not be crucified saw a man called Simon of Cyrene on the way to Jerusalem. They stopped him and told him to carry the cross behind the Lord, while they pulled the bound Saviour onto the mountain.
